Chapter 3504 Adele and Isabella

Chapter 3504 Adele and Isabella

Chapter 3504 Adele and Isabella

Adele Isabella stood there alone watching the group leave, soon leaving her alone on the silvery ridge.

The vast starry sky and the desolate snow-capped mountains could not fully express the loneliness she felt at this moment. She didn't know what Xia De would think of her appearance afterward. She only knew that her visit seemed to have made her mood even worse.

She looked down again at the "command card" stuck diagonally in the snow, then gazed at all the treasures on the ridge. After the evil god's gaze disappeared, the four elements regained balance and then became active again. To the thirteenth-tier Great Witch, the surging elemental tides appeared as a four-colored ocean. She wistfully sensed the strange elemental environment around her, and as she looked up at the starry sky, she pondered time and destiny.

The insights she had gained from her conversation with Luvia flooded her mind, and following her current impulse, she summoned her Fate Ring and the Golden Staircase. The magnificent staircase led through the center of the rotating Fate Ring, and Adele Isabella softly murmured:

"Miraculous Technique - Time Summoning"

The magic spell, which was supposed to summon lingering images of the past, instead triggered a blinding light in front of her. She looked up and immediately squinted; what was rushing towards her beautiful face wasn't just snowflakes, but also yellow sand.

A dim, yellowish light came from ahead, and snow mixed with yellow sand flew from within it. When the dim, yellowish light disappeared, a completely new Adele Isabella stood before her.

The two are almost identical in appearance and physique, even down to the exact location of their beauty marks near their eyes. The only difference is that the later Adele wears more tattered clothes, but is also clearly more powerful than the former.

The present-day Adele once again felt as if she were looking in a strange mirror. The wind on the snowy mountain ruffled their golden hair, and the two looked at each other. The Adele of the past, without needing an explanation, knew where she was:

"Where is the snow-capped mountain of Fatumunst Island, Shad?"

She asked, feeling lonely and somewhat listless, even the appearance of her other self didn't stir much emotion in her:

"I just left with them. They're probably in town now. If you go after them, you should be able to catch up."

"I came here because of you, so I won't go to see Xia De."

Adele nodded gently, her eyes filled with a hint of nostalgia as she looked around:

"This snow-capped mountain is a rather special node in the web of fate, and therefore has a certain uniqueness. It is also easier for people whose fates are already intertwined to touch each other here."

She explained why she appeared, which was also why Shad had heard Luvia's voice from her past life so many times in the water:

"And where we stand now is the end of the path for those who pilgrimage to destiny. We have never been fortune tellers, but those of us who are proficient in the power of time have, in a way, glimpsed destiny from another perspective. And so, at this moment, you have touched the strings of destiny and made a wish, which is why I have appeared briefly."

She was very disappointed not to have seen Shad, while the Great Witch of the present world defended herself by saying:

"I didn't make a wish to see you."

But Adele, who knows herself very well, pointed out with a smile:

"Don't you feel lonely? Don't say you don't, you can't fool yourself."

"But you are not me. Although you look like me in the future, I know you are not."

The thirteenth-tier Great Witch spoke, while the demigod Great Witch continued to laugh:

“What I mean is, you can’t fool your own heart. Whether you’re lonely or not has nothing to do with me; it’s your own idea. Adele, don’t lie to yourself; it doesn’t make sense.”

As she spoke, she raised her hand, and the "command card" flew to her. Although it wasn't signed and she hadn't witnessed what had just happened, she quickly understood the cause and effect after a moment's thought; however, she still needed to confirm:

What did Luvia Annette give up?

The thirteenth-tier witch hesitated for a moment, then began to recount the events of the evening before finally answering the question:

"She relinquished her status as a chosen one and received a special spirit rune. I can't decipher the contents of that enlightenment rune, but it must be important. What, if you were me in the future, wouldn't you know about what happened today?"

Adele sighed deeply and turned to gaze at the vast starry sky. This was a scene she hadn't dreamt of even in her post-apocalyptic dreams for a long time:

"So she really is using this kind of scheme to gain more power, and this time she wants to go from being a player to someone outside the game, right?"

"What did you say?"

"I said, you saw Shad, right? Well, I can tell from your expression."

She earnestly advised:

“Nothing else matters, but this is very important—don’t fall too far behind the other witches. Seize the opportunity and rush up. You are the chairperson of the Witch Council, there’s no reason for you to lose to others.”

Miss Isabella's long golden hair swayed in the snow as she tilted her head slightly.

"Why should I compete with them? What are you talking about? I am the chairperson of the Witch Council. I don't do such things. If you want to take it, go take it yourself."

"You think I didn't take action?"

"Ok?"

Adele tossed the card back into the snow:

"Although we wield the power of time, we will still regret our past and present decisions in the future. I won't try to persuade you; you and I are essentially the same person. What I want, you have no reason not to want as well."

She was quite reassured about this:

I won't say much more about persuasion; I believe you can figure it out yourself.

It wasn't easy for us to meet like this. Unless Shad calls on me for help, it will be a long time before we meet again. Now that the story of destiny has begun, and Luvia Anastasia has gained even greater power through sacrifice, this story is going to get very interesting. Even I can't predict who will ultimately bear that great destiny.

I won't tell you anything about the future, or influence the present through you. However, I will give you some power, at least enough to allow you to make your own decisions. Also, I will tell you some interesting information that you can share with Galina and the others in the council.

The girl in the modern world didn't object to either of these points; she was just curious:

"Can you tell me how to begin the path to demigodhood? I'm very curious about how you became a demigod."

Then she saw another version of herself with a melancholy expression:

"If possible, I would rather remain at the thirteenth rank forever. You don't need to think about becoming a demigod. There is no possibility of advancing to demigod status through conventional means in this era. The upper limit of the Sixth Era is right here."

She pointed to the top of her head:

"The world is on the verge of destruction, and the rules no longer allow demigod-level superhumans to appear. Of course, unconventional methods are still possible, but you certainly wouldn't use the kind of methods Laplace Howard used."

"So there really isn't any other way?"

Then Adele, who came from the apocalypse, smiled again, looking meaningfully at her present self who had everything:

"Or, you could try asking Shad for help."

"Can he help me advance to demigod?"

"He may or may not be able to. But even if he can't help you advance to demigod, he can certainly help you continue to improve your power."

His level of life transcends that of any mortal, therefore his blood and life essence also far surpass those of any mortal, and absorbing them will not cause any problems. Think about it carefully, silly girl, what do you think is the reason that Galina and the others have progressed so quickly? Did Vanessa really become a genius overnight just because she suddenly became a thirteenth-tier being?

The girl from the modern world stood in the snow for a while, thinking, before she understood what "essence of life" meant:

"Wait a minute, you don't mean to say they've already..."

Her face was flushed, half from shyness and half from anger.

"They're witches, how could they do such a thing? Wait, when you ascended to demigod status, did you also use this method?"

Adele snorted:

"I actually hope that if I use this method, you won't be able to sense whether I'm pure or not. So if you really understand your own heart, hurry up and do it, or I'll beat you to it."

"Wait a minute, doesn't what you're saying prove that you're definitely not me from the future?"

The girl who came here during the apocalypse didn't care at all:

Does it matter what era I come from? What matters is that you don't become me, that's enough. You can think of me as a mirror, reflecting the future you least want to happen.

She recounted almost her entire origin story, but ultimately she didn't mention anything about her "past life."

"It's almost time. Now listen carefully to the following information."

Adele said very seriously:

"The three angel-level destiny relics, namely the Puppet Master's Script, the Prophecy Spinning Wheel, and the Kaleidoscope of Crossroads, silently influence the development of the story on this island. However, they all have superior, unknowable relics that possess almost identical but far greater power than the original relics."

[The Puppet Master's Script] - [The Book of Time], you should have seen the information about this relic in the council. This relic is in the [Silver Moon Library]. We don't need to do anything, Shad will definitely come into contact with it himself;

【The Kaleidoscope of Crossroads】-【What If】, it's normal that you don't know this. 【What If】 is a human-shaped relic that can see any possibility. The mirror can see the possibility and choose that fate, but 【What If】 only guides the right person to know the consequences that the possibility represents.

It rarely appears in the material world, but it is one of the few beings that knows all the secrets of the world—yes, all the secrets. I suspect it was once an angel of some ancient god, or even a being greater than an angel.

【Prophecy Spinning Wheel】-【Ouroboros Eye】The former weaves destiny, while the latter allows the wearer to directly see the threads of destiny and then weave destiny with their own hands.

I told you about these three unknowable relics not so that Shad would acquire them, but because they possess a rather interesting characteristic: if you come into contact with these three relics and have used their true power, you will be almost completely immune to the effects of their corresponding lower-level relics.
