It was all because they were the only ones that didn't get pregnant yet.
It was harder for Moon and Elsa since they were an elf and dwarf respectively. Even if there were cases of half elves and half dwarves in the past, it wasn't something that had been
common.

or a dwarf.
Veronica was desperate because she was the only human that didn't get pregnant.
She should have had it easier as a human, but she still didn't get pregnant...
