Ryan Taylor originally wanted to get some help from Easton Holmes, at the very least some comfort, but what he never expected was that not only did he not get comfort or help, he ended up with a whole lot of trouble instead.

"Is it fun for you to gang up on me like this?" Seeing the harmonious and well-coordinated pair of husband and wife, Ryan felt helpless and powerless. He could already foresee his upcoming days filled with one matchmaking session after another.

Lily Turner raised a hand and waved it at her brother, then mimicked an old philosopher’s manner and replied, "No, no! We’re not setting you up; we’re helping you. You should be grateful to us instead."

Her intention and goal were to help her brother find a girlfriend. Her brother was not getting any younger, and it was high time for him to find someone.

Ryan Taylor looked at Easton Holmes, then at Lily Turner. He couldn’t come up with anything to counter them, "I can’t win against both of you. I’m out."

With that, he got up and left the living room.

"Honey! My brother isn’t really angry, is he?" Watching Ryan Taylor stride out of the living room, Lily Turner couldn’t help but feel a bit worried, concerned that Ryan might actually be upset because of her.

Easton Holmes glanced in the direction where Ryan left, then turned to look at her, "Don’t worry, my brother-in-law isn’t that petty."

From what he knew about his good brother, there was no way he would be truly angry, especially since their intentions were genuinely in his best interest.

"But I just saw my brother’s face change." Lily Turner had noticed that Ryan Taylor’s expression didn’t look too good just now, and she was genuinely afraid that her brother was upset, which was not the outcome she wanted to see.

Seeing his wife’s worried face, Easton Holmes couldn’t help but pinch her cheek, "Now you’re worried, but you were pretty efficient when you made that call just now."

While teasing her verbally, he didn’t idle his hands and pinched her cheek again.

"I’m doing this so my brother can find a wife sooner. He’s no spring chicken anymore. Does he plan to wait until he’s fifty to find a wife?" Lily Turner removed the hand pinching her cheek and tilted her head to look at its owner, "You were the one who handed me the phone earlier. I didn’t ask for it."

She pushed all the responsibility onto her husband, making it seem as if she had no intention of taking the phone at all.

Easton Holmes didn’t shirk responsibility in the least, nodding repeatedly at Lily Turner, "Yes, yes, yes."

Indeed, he handed her the phone voluntarily, and he truly intended to help her find a girlfriend for his good brother.

"Haha!" Lily Turner extended her right hand to shake Easton Holmes’s hand, "Honey! It’s been a pleasure working with you!"
