The Paladin Leader actually felt uneasy after he couldn't find anyone inside the labyrinth despite the many traces of people fighting including the corpses of hunters that had been torn apart by wild beasts. He could only assume that there was a fight between the hunters and perhaps Beast got involved in the fight and caused the death of some of the hunters and whoever survived might have accidentally discovered this room but maybe he was holding a special amulet or something that could hide his presence but that won't be a problem once this place is closed, that man or woman should forget trying to escape from this place.
"Let's go!" said the leader.
"Yes!" the subordinated answer simultaneously.
They were just about to leave, but their steps were suddenly stopped by the appearance of the figure of a man who came from nowhere. The man with tattered clothes and long jet-black hair stood with his hands folded behind his back. Despite wearing tattered clothes the man exuded with noble aura and charisma with a hint of inexplicable mystery.
"Who are you?" The leader was the first one who snap back from his daze.
The corners of his lips curved into a condescending smile, "You are not worthy of knowing my name."
The Paladin's expression became unsightly, and one of them could not hold his anger he pointed his sword at Zhao Li Xin"Who do you dare taunt us, do you know who you are up against right now?!" he spat his anger.
Zhao Li Xin's expression remained impassive as usual, "I have a guess but, but please... enlighten me" Zhao Li Xin raised his hand politely, though his voice was soft and courteous but for the enemy it felt like Zhao Li Xin mocked them, Well, they weren't wrong.
The Paladin Leader was irritated by Zhao Li Xin's nonchalant attitude. He looked at Zhao with a mocking look, he thought this young man was too arrogant and too stupid, and he was probably not aware of what he was getting into.
"Young man, for your good you better behave yourself before I cut your tongue." his words hinted with a stern warning,
"Cut off my tongue?" Zhao Li Xin raised his brows pretending to be stunned, he gracefully covered his mouth, but then a sinister smile slowly spread across his handsome face. "What a coincidence, I also like cutting people's tongues..."
All of a sudden a bloodthirsty aura flared up uncontrollably from Zhao Li Xin like an raging wildfire devouring the forest. The sudden pressure made the Paladins reflexively raise their weapons, some of them activated their protective amulets as if a ferocious Beast were about to pounce on them.
Their anxiety brought chuckles to Zhao Li Xin's lips "Why so tense? I haven't done anything"
Only knowing the Paladin leader realized that he had been tricked, this man was not only a beautiful face but also a dangerous beast, he could not let this man live.
"Spread!" the leader gives orders.
The subordinates immediately caught him then they spread out, and surrounded Zhao Li Xin, all of them pointing their weapons at Zhao Li Xin.
The Paladins gulped heavily 'Is that being generous?'
Just like a teacher giving a lecture, he rests his arms behind his back gracefully then walks with small steps he starts to explain: "That was called an Immortal flame, an ancient art I learned a long time ago and just like it's named when you were burned by the Immortal flame, it cannot be put off by any means until the poor victim is burned to ashes or....I die..." he flicks a smile then all of a sudden his figure moves very fast it looks like he disappeared like thin air.

Panicking, they pointed their flashlights everywhere, then one of them accidentally touched the corpse of his dead friend, and suddenly the black corpse crumbled down into nothing but ashes. He jumped out of shock and screamed in fright, he startled the other causing them to take a few steps back.
Everyone, stay alert! The leader roared, and soon they all recovered from the shock and immediately regained their position but it was too late, they had lost the mysterious man whereabouts.
"Don't be careless, he's still here!" The leader warned them and drilled into their heads that only humans, and humans could be killed.
Unfortunately, logic and feelings cannot be equated. Facing something they have never seen before tends to make people afraid besides after seeing how their friend died it is impossible for them not to be traumatized.
Zhao Li Xin was amused at how easy it was to scare them, he only burned one of their members and they were already shaking like wet cats in the rain, what weak mental strength. Hopefully, all Paladins are like this if it is, it wouldn't be difficult to eradicate them all.
