Chapter 675: HEMOPHAGE 2
Chapter 675: HEMOPHAGE 2
Chiron immediately dove into the fate change system to see if it could similarly recall the information that he wanted. However, there was an error icon before it. he could not do that now. The fate change was still under going its improvements.
Chiron frowned at this. This was something he would have to check on another time.
Nevertheless, he had work to do now. He read more about the Hemophage. Apparently, he could even do more with it, as it was related in nature with yet another Blood curse which was the blood shadow.
**Blood shadow**
This ability allowed him to be able to make an exact copy of a person from their blood such that the made copy fought on his side.
Chiron liked this one too. If there was no need to get his hands dirty, then why not? However, they were conditions for this one. Firstly, the person that was being duplicated must still be alive, or not dead for more than a week of time. And will subsequently only last for the max period of a month.
Any more than that and the blood shadow may either turn to dust or turn on its master. The only way to maintain their form if the time limit was to reach was the continuous feeding of more blood.
It was time. The man that he had pulled from the tree had been standing there, waiting all this time, praying to the heavens or whatever god that would listen that Chiron let him go. In fact, considering that chiron had been contemplating a lot as he read the blood red book in his hands, he was already of the opinion that maybe, just maybe chiron was going to let him go.
But then, chiron suddenly stripped. The blanket he used to cover his nakedness, pool underneath him. And then he sat in a cross legged manner as he began to mutter some words. As he did, devil’s touch acted as an aide, carving out deep runes on the body of its master.
The atmosphere seem to settle into a more eerie thickness. As the man watched the liquid blade carve deep wounds into Chiron’s body.
Even in his previous world, it was the same thing. As if the person that wanted to kill them cared that much in the first place. then again, human beings had a habit of believing what they wanted to.
It would have even been easier if the man had promised Chiron something of value. In fact, Chiron would have not faulted the man for even saying that he knew where the others were hiding and could gift them to chiron for his life.
In Chiron’s opinion, nothing mattered more than a man’s life. he could be beaten, bruised, hacked, but as long as he had life, there was hope.
After all, if a man were to lose even his children, he could always find love again and create new ones. this was most especially true for the people in this world, were possibility was stretched nearly endlessly. How narrow their mindset was was really alarming and annoying.
Chiron could not help but sigh at the thought of it, as he waved his hands. Devil’s touch immediately shot through the man’s chest and his blood rained down on Chiron’s body, warm and wet.
As the blood rain fell, the man still pleaded, his body spasm from the pain and the knowledge that this was the end.
Chiron on the other hand, entered a meditative state.
As he did, he concentrated on drinking some of the blood. and then it happened. His mind moved as he felt it all. It began like tracing one’s footsteps back.
first came the pain that the man was currently feeling and then the rush of fear and after that came peace of being able to find somewhere to hide all the way to fear again, when chiron’s servants had attacked the village. Enjoy more content from novelhall.Côm
Chiron saw through the man’s eyes as hunter ripped the man’s wife in two and then the fires, the sting of heat. it traced even further back.
apparently, the man had actually just caught his wife cheating on him with his brother before the attack. he felt the man’s heart felt pain and then...
