Chapter 575: Dylan’s Test

Dylan and Deamon were not aware of the Deal between Chiron and Manu Madayaki.

Instead, they had their own worries to be bothered about.

After all, right now, they had just gone into the gate that led to the second test.

The world instantly changed around them.

For Dylan, he opened his eyes. The air was misty, filled with the smell of a town at the country side.

The sheets were rough, evidence of the rumble that had happened only a few hours ago.

His eyes shut open in confusion as he looked all around him.

This place, he recognized it all too well. The peeling walls, the smell of rabbit fur, the clothes hanging at a corner on the ward ropes, the children clothes on the floor.@@@@

How could he forget it. He just couldn’t. It had been a very long time, months even. This place had not been the cleanest, nor the best, but it had been there during the happiest time of his life.

Just then, he heard voices come from outside the house. they were the voices of children playing.

Dylan immediately kicked the sheets from his body.

He wanted to run out, but then he remembered that he was butt naked and rushed back to put on his clothes.

He then ran out of the room as fast as he could. On coming out, he was met with children running around. These children were all Beast men.

Some were palying, while some others were helping to clean the house. While some others were fighting over a doll.

Seeing this woman again, he was even more worried. And so he added more spiritual energy into his legs, and then finally, he reached it.

It was just ahead. The Place he had to be. This was the river side.

However, on getting here, all he saw were people fetching water, and some kids playing in the water.

But for some reason, he could not help but panic and began to scream, "get out of the water. Get out! Its poisoned, get out!!" However, apart from a few that rushed out of the water in surprise, most did not.

Dylan immediately picked a huge stick from the ground, striking those that did not leave, as such the people surprised and confused as to what was happening rushed out of the water.

And then Dylan remembered the reason he had come here in the first place. "Momoh! Momoh!! Where are you!?" However, he did not see her.

The people did not notice it because the water had splashed on his body and everywhere, but right now, Dylan was actually in tears.

And then he heard a voice. "Dylan!?" It was light, filled with confusion and surprise, but it was her own. Even if he was given a thousand years, his ear would never forget what that voice sounded like.

It was just a word, but it embodied all the longing that had occupied him. And for a few seconds, he actually feared turning around, or turning in that particular direction. After all, what if he turned and it was not her, or he turned and then he saw it again, the image of her lifeless eyes staring back at him.

However, his desire at this moment was far more than his fear. And he turned.

There she was. The literal symbol of all that was wonderful in his life, just staring back at him.

He was speechless at the sight of her. So speechless that he did not even notice that him, who was a cultivator had gone weak in the knees and fell to the ground.

She approached him, her expression one of worry. However, the moment she was within arms reach, his arms wrapped around her waist as his head sank into her blouse... and tears fell.
