Chapter 125: Flame Dragon Slayer
Chapter 125: Flame Dragon Slayer
"Hou Lixie! With so many monsters hiding in Japan, is the executive department here just there to do nothing?"
Raymond threw the last weapon in his hand. A violent explosion sounded, but he didn't care at all. He searched the armory, trying to find out if there were any other weapons. But in the end he could only shake his head in disappointment. Except for the tactical nuclear bomb, they were now out of ammunition and food.
"Damn it, why do you think the school asked us to come here to investigate? Isn't it because of this?"
Finkel also threw out the weapon in his hand that was emitting green smoke, briefly repelling the approaching dragon-blood monsters, and looked at Raymond with a serious expression.
"Any other weapons?"
Raymond smiled bitterly and shook his head.
"No more, not a single bullet left, and the signal has been blocked. The distress signal we sent out has been intercepted. We may have to fight alone."
Under normal circumstances, these weapons would have been enough for them to fight a small siege, but these ghost creatures had strong recovery abilities and were fearless of death. In just a dozen minutes, all their weapons and ammunition had been used up, and the damage caused to the monsters was very limited.
Finkel had a gloomy face as he looked at the monsters that were surrounding him again outside the window. He then looked at Lu Mingfei who was still sleeping, gritted his teeth, and made up his mind.
"Raymond, you take Lu Mingfei to break through later, and I will help you clear the way. By the way, there should be cold weapons in the car."
Raymond looked at Finkel with some surprise. He seemed like a different person all of a sudden. His original nonchalant temperament was gone, and he looked like a sword about to be unsheathed, with its edge exposed. In other words, he was now like a proud lion king, looking down at the subjects under his rule.
"some!"
Raymond came to his senses and immediately pulled out a drawer from under the cab. Inside the drawer were five or six standard cold weapons that were flashing with cold light.
"Bring me two long swords."
Finkel only took a glance and took a fancy to two identical long swords. He directly gave orders to Raymond, and his words were full of the tone that could not be refused.
"it is good!"
Looking at the two rays of light in Finkel's eyes that were as hot as flames, Raymond subconsciously took out two long knives from the drawer and handed them over. Then he was surprised to find that he could not muster the slightest resistance to Finkel's orders, just like a soldier could not disobey the orders of his commander.
"Give me that little guy, and also, how to activate it."
Finkel took the sword, waved it casually, and a look of satisfaction appeared on his face. Then he pointed to the football-sized tactical nuclear bomb in the armory and motioned Raymond to give it to him.
"This is a small-yield tactical nuclear bomb specially developed by the Equipment Department. Its explosive power is equivalent to ten tons of TNT explosives, and its strike radius is more than five hundred meters. Because it is usually used as a means of final destruction, there is only one way to detonate it, which is to press the button on top of it. Then the nuclear bomb will explode in ten seconds, destroying the detonator and the enemy together."
Raymond unlocked the locking device, carefully picked up the nuclear bomb and handed it to Finkel, fearing that the start button would be accidentally triggered.
"Those guys in the equipment department are really crazy!"
Even Finkel, who was in a serious state, couldn't help cursing when he heard this method of detonation that almost meant perishing together with the enemy. However, he still reached out to take the nuclear bomb, tied it carefully with the safety belt he had just cut, made sure it would not fall, and then carried it on his back.
"Raymond, are you ready? This is our only S-class student, the future hope of the academy. Whether he can survive depends entirely on you."
Finkel looked at the dragon-blood monsters outside the window that were gathering like hyenas besieging an elephant, and asked softly without turning his head.
"Don't worry, as long as I'm alive, nothing will happen to him!"
As if inspired by Finkel's words, Raymond, who had just been stunned by Finkel's actions, suddenly came to his senses. The slightly dim golden pupils in his eyes also ignited, and his tone was full of determination.
"Very good, then, go ahead!"
Finkel nodded with satisfaction, took another look at the sleeping Lu Mingfei, a hint of unruly arc appeared on the corner of his mouth, and without hesitation, he kicked out, and the solid car door instantly flew out like a cannonball, knocking away the surrounding dragon blood monsters. Then Finkel leaped up, and his tall figure appeared in front of the monsters that surrounded the front door like a nimble cheetah, and chopped them down with a knife.
The long sword covered in black flames easily cut off the heads of the two dragon-blood monsters. The black flames burning on the sword instantly devoured the two flying heads and the slowly falling bodies, turning them into ashes and disappearing.
"What are you standing there for? Hurry up and move!"
Finkel's impatient voice woke up Raymond, who was in disbelief, and then he continued to kill the dragon-blood monsters that were charging towards him fearlessly without looking back.
"Today, I, the Fire Dragon Slayer, Finkel von Frings, fought against 100,000 dragon-blood monsters to protect my brothers. It was awesome!"
As Finkel took the initiative to attack, the densely packed ghosts seemed to be provoked and attacked Finkel together. Even the dragon-blood monsters surrounding the car seemed to be stimulated and squeezed into the center of the fighting group of dragon-blood monsters.
Listening to Finkel's immature yet heroic words, Raymond, who had come to his senses, couldn't help but smile. He quickly opened the car door, and while the dragon-blood monsters were distracted and not paying attention to this side, he quickly carried Lu Mingfei on his back, took another look at the chaotic battlefield where black flames surged from time to time, turned around and ran in the opposite direction. Now, only by escaping from this encircled area would he have a chance to request support. The faster the speed, the greater the chance of Finkel's survival.
"Hold on, Finkel!"
Raymond roared in his heart, carrying Lu Mingfei on his back and running quickly in the direction they came from.
It was still the office that looked like a huge library. At this moment, two people sat face to face, smoking cigars quietly, and no one spoke.
"Huh, they've been out of contact for nineteen minutes and thirty-five, oh no, thirty-seven seconds. Aren't you sending rescue yet?"
Nicholas Flamel, the vice president of Kassel College, who was still dressed like a cowboy, looked at the clock hanging in the middle of the room, exhaled a long puff of smoke, and spoke calmly.
"You have to have confidence in those two children. Both Finger and Lu Mingfei are excellent children. Although Finger made some mistakes in the past, it can't be blamed entirely on him, right? Although Lu Mingfei is still very young, his bloodline is destined to make him stand at the top of the mixed-blood species. What he lacks now is just some tempering. We have to believe in them. Flowers in the room will never see the rainbow. Let them grow on their own. Sooner or later, they will surpass us."
Principal Angers had a gentle smile on his face, without any anxiety.
