Furong stepped forward and gently knocked on the door. After a short while, someone gently opened the door a crack. Furong handed over her pass, which the person checked. After looking at the people behind Furong, the person handed the pass back and opened the wooden door a little wider.
Furong took the wooden plaque and beckoned the others to follow her inside. Once inside, Lu Jinyan noticed that there were many patrolling guards, all dressed in black and wearing masks. As soon as they entered, a masked man approached them.
"Please follow me, gentlemen!"
He then led the group inside, making several turns and winding their way around until they reached a wall with an iron gate. Guards stood on either side of the gate. The man led them to the gate and then turned and left.
Furong picked up the wooden plaque again and handed it over. After glancing at the plaque, the guard reached out and pushed open the iron gate, gesturing for them to go inside.
After the group went inside, Lu Jinyan opened her mouth in surprise. It looked like a huge playground, probably at least five or six football fields in size. And that was just the area she could see; there were other areas she couldn't see.
As far as the eye could see, there were rows of wooden cages, each containing about ten people. They were all dressed in rags, their hair disheveled and dirty, and their faces were barely recognizable without close inspection. There were men and women, young and old, and some of them were strong and robust, while others were emaciated.
Lu Jinyan was very skeptical. How could these people, who were so thin, possibly have the strength to work? Wasn't this floor supposed to be full of low-level demon slaves doing hard labor? They all looked like ribs; what kind of work could they possibly do?

As soon as she approached, a foul odor hit her, and Lu Jinyan frowned and covered her mouth and nose. It wasn't that she was disgusted; it really did smell bad.
"Please forgive me, sir. These are the lowest and most lowly demon slaves. The smell is a bit strong, of course. But once you take them home, you can wash them and change their clothes. Don't be fooled by their thinness; they are quite strong, obedient, eat little, work diligently, and are cheap!"
The man wearing the bear mask was completely unaffected by the smell and diligently introduced the place to everyone, as if he had long been accustomed to the odor.

In Lu Jinyan's eyes, all the demon slaves here were now small. Most of them were black, yellow, or green, with the only pink one standing out.
Following the system's guidance, Lu Jinyan arrived in front of the pink dot, a thin and small girl who looked malnourished. Her face was so dirty that her features were obscured, but her eyes were frighteningly bright.
"Let's go with her. How much?" Lu Jinyan pointed to the little girl huddled in the corner of the cage, trembling with fear.
The man wearing the bear mask waved his hand, and someone immediately stepped forward, opened the cage, and brought the little girl out.
The little girl had a wooden sign around her neck and heavy iron chains on her hands and feet. Perhaps the chains were too heavy, or perhaps she hadn't eaten for a long time, because she was having great difficulty walking.
