" Who said I went against the Arcane, isn't it normal to compete with others in the market and as for the team I can't disclose any information about them, that's a secret. "
Then Jayden answered a few more questions, a few of the people even directed their questions towards Sasha and Eleanor, trying to get more information about them, but Jayden shut all the curious men with a smile.
After a while when they were about to end the exchange of questions a man wearing a mask over his face suddenly stood up, then he took out a gun from under his clothes and pointed it towards Jayden.
" If you die then everything will end, it's all because of you that our Arcane had been reduced to such a state, do you even know how long have they been protecting us so what if they kill a few useless humans?
Isn't it okay to make a few sacrifices for the greater good, you should have known your place, I'm going to end you with my hands then the Arcane will rise to the top again. " The man shouted and shot several shots towards Jayden, his gun was not ordinary and his bullet had elementary properties.
Since he was shooting crazily one of the bullets moved towards Sasha who was sitting just beside Jayden, he reacted instantly and hugged her while shielding her body, although most of the bullets missed him but one bullet hit his shoulder and red blood immediately began to flow out, Jayden released a low painful groan.
All the people were in chaos but since the place had been closed so they weren't able to escape.
