Huang Xiaoyu nearly ran out of the hospital and headed to the bus stop. After waiting for a while without seeing any buses, she flagged down a taxi and headed straight back to the Guard Team compound.

Huang Xiaoyu wasn’t in the mood to chat with the driver and nodded absentmindedly as he continued with his on-and-off conversation.
During the one-hour journey, Huang Xiaoyu’s heart gradually calmed down. By the time she returned to the Guard Team, she was even thinking that Li Lele’s drowning had nothing to do with her.
