For a few seconds, everyone present was stunned into silence as they looked at Alice's cute, red, puffy face after all that shouting. Reina's face crumpled into a mess, and Lucius, hearing such words from the usually innocent Alice, had his jaw drop to the floor. Even the usually stoic Camilla had her jaw agape.
Dear God! What sort of nonsense reasoning was this? Amongst everyone here, maybe Alice was the only one who could come to such a silly conclusion. For the two women present, it was impossible to have such ridiculous thoughts. They had already easily fallen into Lucius's grasp and knew just how lustful and greedy that man could be.
