Chapter 249 National Day Holiday Trip (End)
At 10 o'clock in the morning on October 5, when everyone was preparing to climb Mount Tai, at the suggestion of Su Qiankun, they held hands with each other.
Although mountain climbing is fun and relaxing, everyone's personal safety should be put first.
Before coming to Mount Tai, Su Qiankun suggested that the girls wear baseball caps and sunglasses to protect themselves.
After all, it is the holiday season, so there are naturally more people climbing Mount Tai than usual.
If we hold hands, we won't get separated.
March 7th did the same thing. Since Taishan Club specializes in dealing with people who are stubborn, there should be some truth to this.
The main point is, listen to the master’s advice!
Start from the foot of Hongmen Mountain and hike up the mountain at a leisurely pace.
When they climbed to the South Gate of Heaven, Su Qiankun asked everyone to stop and rest, eat something to replenish their energy.
Then everyone reached the summit around 11 noon.
The scenery at the top of the mountain is actually quite good.
As for why Mount Tai is called the first of the Five Great Mountains, we should not only look at the surface scenery, but also from a historical perspective.
In ancient times, Mount Tai was regarded as a paradise "leading directly to the emperor's throne" and became a sacred mountain worshipped by the people and offered sacrifices to by the emperor.
From the Qin Shihuang to the Qing Dynasty, 13 generations of emperors have personally climbed Mount Tai to offer sacrifices or offer enshrinement. Its respected status in history is irreplaceable.
From a geographical point of view, Mount Tai is located in the east. The ancients believed that the east was the place where all things changed and early spring occurred. In addition, its majestic mountains and unique geographical location make it stand out among the Five Great Mountains.
After a short rest, the descent started at 11:30 am and we returned to the starting point of the climb at around 2 pm.
During the whole process, Su Qiankun and the others were still holding hands. They walked as fast as the wind, with calm faces. How could they look tired at all?
Such a big scene stunned a foreigner who was walking down the mountain slowly with trembling legs and holding a trekking pole.
The foreigner was about 30 years old. He heard that China's Mount Tai was a place that cured stubborn people and that the mountain never charged admission to useless people.
He refused to believe it and thought that it was just because young Chinese people today were in poor physical condition and were being pretentious.
Therefore, with this feeling in mind, I came here from afar to take on this challenge.
At first at the foot of Hongmen Mountain, he was as confident as March 7th.
The first thing he said was, "Little Taishan, simple, take it down, take it down" and so on.
When he started climbing the mountain, he walked very fast.
However, after climbing for less than two hours, he was already exhausted and out of breath.
After climbing for three hours, I thought I had conquered Mount Tai.
But when I looked up, the ticket office had just appeared...
But we had no choice but to grit our teeth and finally climbed to the top of the mountain after a full six and a half hours.
He didn't know that he had already been taught a severe lesson by Taishan.
After reaching the top, the foreigner felt like his legs were not his own and he was shaking violently.
When going down the mountain, the foreigner inadvertently saw Su Qiankun and the others’ speed and full state of mind, and he began to doubt his life.
At the same time, I also don’t understand. Everyone knows that Mount Tai is only 1545 meters above sea level, but it is so difficult to climb. Why are there still so many Chinese people who insist on reaching the summit?
-
After climbing Mount Tai, Su Qiankun led everyone to climb the most difficult Mount Hua.
Huashan is 2160.5 meters above sea level and is the birthplace of Chinese civilization. The "Hua" in "China" and "Huaxia" comes from Huashan, so this place is known as the "Root of China"; it has the reputation of being "the most dangerous mountain in the world."
In primitive society, Huashan was a sacred mountain for worshipping gods. Emperors such as Qin Shihuang, Emperor Wu of Han, Wu Zetian, and Emperor Xuanzong of Tang had conducted large-scale sacrificial activities here.
In addition, Huashan is one of the birthplaces of the Quanzhen Sect of Taoism. The mountain has a total of 72 semi-suspended caves and more than 20 Taoist temples. Taoist masters such as Chen Tuan, Hao Datong, and He Yuanxi are also here.
There are Taoist myths and legends such as "Splitting the Mountain to Save the Mother" and "Playing the Flute to Attract the Phoenix". There are more than 1200 poems and inscriptions, and more than a thousand rock carvings. In 1982, Huashan became one of the "first batch of national scenic spots". In 2004, it became one of the "Ten Famous Mountains in China".
Hiking route (Yuquanyuan → North Peak → East Peak → South Peak → West Peak → West Peak Cableway)
Huashan is famous for its "majestic and dangerous" terrain. There is a saying that "Huashan is the most majestic in the world" and it is known that "there has been only one road to Huashan since ancient times". It has more than 210 famous scenic spots, including the Changkong Plank Road built in the air, the Yaozi Flipping Road facing the sky on three sides, as well as the Thousand-foot Chuang, Baichi Gorge and Laojun Ligou carved out of the steep cliffs.
The Changkong Plank Road is located on the eastern side of the Huashan South Peak. It was built by He Zhizhen, the first master of the Huashan Sect in the Yuan Dynasty, in order to escape from the mundane world and meditate in seclusion to become an immortal.
The plank road was built with stone nails and wooden rafters on the cliffs. There were cliffs above and below the plank road, with only iron ropes hanging across it.
This road is made of stone slabs and fixed with stone pillars. Visitors here can only face the wall, hold their stomachs and move forward with breath held, so it is also known as "the first dangerous place in Huashan".
The Harrier is known as the "Second Most Dangerous Place on Mount Huashan". It is located on the East Peak of Mount Huashan. It is a steep cliff and the only way to the Chess Pavilion. It is named because of its steep shape which resembles the wings of a kite.
Visitors here must face the wall and hold the rope, using their toes to feel for the stone nests and go down alternately.
Laojun Ligou was originally named "Laojun Li Gu", which means "leaving the dust and dirt to reach the fairyland" in Taoist language. It is "the third dangerous pass of Mount Huashan".
It refers to an unfathomable ditch-like dangerous path between steep stone walls, with a total of more than 570 stone steps.
Qianchi Chuang is located on the Huixin Stone. It is a large crack on a cliff, trapped between huge rocks on both sides. The walls of the mountain are upright and the slope is extremely steep, only allowing two people to pass up and down.
There are more than 370 steps from top to bottom. The width of each step is about one-third of the width of the sole of the foot, with a slope of 70°. Iron chains on both sides hang vertically, and there is a stone at the top of the steps that can only accommodate one person.
When people climb up the last stone step, they come out of the cave, so the cave is named "skylight".
If the "well mouth" is covered, the road leading to Huashan will be blocked, so people call it "Taihua Throat", and Qianchi Chuang has become "the most dangerous place in Huashan".......
Everyone followed the travel route planned by Su Qiankun and experienced these projects while ensuring safety.
Finally we arrived at the West Peak and took the cable car down the mountain.
The Xifeng Cableway is the world's first single-line, circular, detachable cableway with a chamber station built in the cliff, an undulating course, and intermediate stations.
The cableway line is 4211 meters long and has a relative height difference of 894 meters. It is very steep.
But this way of going down the mountain only takes 20 minutes. You can take the cable car, travel between the majestic peaks of Huashan, admire the strange rocks on the cliffs, and feel the magic of nature.
From going up the mountain to going down the mountain, the whole process is thrilling and exciting...
After climbing the first two difficult mountains, the other three became relatively easy, and the time spent climbing became shorter and shorter.
Every time everyone finishes climbing a mountain, their physical strength and personal condition will naturally decline. Su Qiankun has certainly taken this into consideration and has many simple ways to solve it.
Therefore, before noon on the 7th, everyone was able to climb the Five Great Mountains in one go following Su Qiankun.
And the trip during the National Day holiday came to an end here.
—
October 10, 7:11 p.m.
In Su Qiankun's living room, the coffee table is almost filled with photos and group photos of everyone traveling during the National Day holiday.
Sitting on the sofa were Su Qiankun and his daughter, Little Gray Hair, March Seven, and Alicia Wuliangta.
Nashida sat quietly on her father, shaking her little legs from time to time.
It was also a special kind of enjoyment for the father and daughter to listen to them share their experiences.
From time to time there were sounds of laughter and playfulness in the living room.
It can be seen that everyone was very satisfied with this trip.
The Great Compassionate Tree King was busy preparing a feast in the kitchen.
Today she deliberately didn't let her husband enter the kitchen and packed lunch for him.
While cutting vegetables, I secretly hummed the Mockingbird album that I had recently learned.
Hope Has Feathers and Wings
“We rise together as our destiny unfolds”
“We face the darkness and our trials are yet untold”
? “Through the shadows of despair”
“Oh in silence hopes we share”
“To chase our dreams that we've declared”
"We glimpse through our eyes"
“Yet fools blind our sights”
"Can't make what they say since I don't understand their explanations"
"We'll find our way, we'll find our way."
(climax) “Heads up! The wheels are spinning. Please pay attention. The wheel of fate is turning.”
?“Across the plains in valleys deep”
"To dawn the wheels that sing"
?“An unending dream”…
At the same time, Su Qiankun clapped his hands and asked everyone: "Everyone, based on the history you have learned during this period, you have watched relevant movies and materials."
"Remember what Little Gray Hair said when our protagonists faced Sunday at Pinocchio?"
Nashida, Little Gray Hair, Ai Li, Fu Xuan, and March 7 were all fresh in their memory and came out at the same time.
“The so-called ‘pioneering’ means to go further along the path that no one has taken before!”
San Yueqi was somewhat emotional: "After hearing Master's question, I realized that our motherland has been constantly advancing on the road of 'exploration'."
Wuliangta nodded and said, "Yes, you have to know that in the historical context of the time, none of our ancestors knew whether they would win or not."
"Even though the future is full of uncertainty, they continue to fight with their own flesh and blood..."
And the singing in the kitchen continued.
“Break free we chased our dreams beneath the starry night”
"In the face of God we rose as one, facing the gods, we united and marched forward..."
