Chapter 587: Elder Bladie’s Plan

Manu swilled with the Mirror edge cursed worm in between his fingers.

As he did, he took his time to reach Knight Sheyi. "You disappoint me, young one. With the talents you have, you can be your own person..." his voice dropped lower,"—your own king. But you choose to go against me. Surely, even you can tell that this is a very foolish move. But don’t worry, I expect nothing less from one that got his magic from..." the words came out of his mouth, but no ears could hear them.

Even worse, Manu coughed up some blood as a result of his attempt to speak forbidden words of magic users.

Knight Sheyi saw this and chuckled a bit, "even you are not exempted from the rule. The one that binds the fate of every magic user under the sky."

Manu wiped his mouth with his forearm, a smirk on his face.

Considering the fact that Chiron was not a magic user by birth, he thought it was possible that he could cheat the rule, but it was not possible. It was bonded to the power itself and therefore to their soul.

"True, I am not, but in this world, I am THE RULE!" In saying this, he spat on the worm in his fingers and then he his hands glowed with the yellow gas of his poison.

The moment that the smoke cleared, the worm had taken a more grotesque form. Its body was bathed in little mouths that looked like bumps.

It was little, but very ugly to look at.

"Let me teach you a little lesson about curses." On saying this, he grabbed Knight Sheyi by his mouth, forcing it open, as his other hand guided the worm that slugged its way into Knight Sheyi’s throat.

As it did, he growled in pain and then he fell to the ground, squirming around the place, as the serpent that held him in place left him be.

And then it happened, his skin began to develop those same grotesque looking mouth bumps.

As they did, he itched again and again. The itch mixed with the mind boggling pain was just too much to bear.

The remainder of his clothes, robes he used to cover his nakedness, were ripped out. his entire body was filled with these sore bumps.

After which, he waved his hands, cutting off both of Knight Sheyi’s hands all the way from the shoulders. And also his legs.

"I have mutated your soul and it has in turn mutilated your body. Everything your skin touches will rot like your flesh... you shall carry this plague till the flicker that is your existence ends or ceases to exist."

Manu walked forward. As he did, the Serpent holding lily, Knight Sheyi’s doll in place tightened its hold on her, instantly breaking her into little pieces.

Meanwhile, Knight Sheyi remained like a worm on the ground, screaming in pain he was not even allowed to scratch.

Elder Baldie bowed again, "You flatter me, master, it was the effort of my entire giant white serpent tribe. We have been planning this in secret since your unjust imprisonment."

"Yes, but it was your cunny that ensured that I was able to take over a body that had the bloodline of your tribe. The one I left behind all those thousands of years ago. If not, I would be needing to change human hosts every so often."

It was true, this was all Elder Baldie’s plan. At least the part involving Manu to take over Chiron’s body.

It was for this reason that Elder baldie had a strong inclination to be on Chiron’s side.

It was also the reason why he had brought Chiron to the inner shrine of the White serpent when Chiron had newly arrived.

Manu Madayaki was their god and they had been trying for a long time to get one of their clan to sit on the throne once more.

It was for this reason that the tribe never had a chief. Because it was believed that the only one that deserved to be chief of the tribe was without a doubt manu madayaki.

Of course, having a worthy candidate that would step into Fog of unbounded demise and bring out Manu madayaki was the truly difficult task.

They had sent their own kin many times in the past but they all ended up dead. Only one managed to make it back. It was the one that had created the tome, having the map of the fog.

This tome was kept under the guidance of the shrine intentionally, while the Giant white Snake tribe ensured to have their people serve within the shrine to look after it and keep their foothold in society, regardless of the pressure from all the other tribes to swallow them.

It was at such a time that Chiron and his sister had arrived. And then Elder baldie had found one that he believed to be the perfect candidate for Manu madayaki.

But first, he had to trick Chiron into entering the Fog of unbounded demise on his own accord.

Of course, seeing that chiron had a hunger for power, this part was not all too hard for him.

All he did was help chiron in secret at different times, to ensure that his life was guaranteed.

It was all so that he could come and serve as the perfect body for their god.

Manu Madayaki patted his head a bit, "come my child, there is much to do."

Elder baldie stood to his feet wiping his tears. "yes master. I already have significant information on the happenings of the world. Including the battles between the Families of the Holy Church. i have also made plans for your entering into the Vandorian palace. As I know your hunger for blood must be..." he took a look all around and nodded, "—profound."

"Yes, I still need to quench a few more lives before I will see temporary satisfaction..." In saying this, he walked over into the tesseract.

The soldiers and the commander did not waste time, rushing back to start the ship and take him to the palace...
